THE MORE YOU KNOW:

Dog Anxiety and Participation: If your furry friend is feeling a bit anxious, don’t worry—you’re not required to bring your dog along for the Ghost Walk. It’s entirely up to you whether you want to include your pup in the spooky adventure. Some dogs thrive in eerie atmospheres, while others might prefer a cozy spot at home. Either way, you’re welcome to join the tour!

Kid-Friendly Aspect: While the Ghost Walk isn’t specifically designed for young children, it’s essential to note that it’s not recommended for kids under 14 due to the amount of walking involved. Ghostly tales and historical tidbits can be captivating, but little legs might tire out during the tour. So, if you’re planning a family outing, consider other age-appropriate events for the kiddos.

Variety in Tours: You attended last year—awesome! But fear not (or maybe do fear a little—it’s a ghost tour, after all), because this year’s tour won’t be an exact repeat. Your town is steeped in history, and there are likely new stories, eerie corners, and mysterious happenings to explore. Ghosts have a way of keeping things interesting, don’t they?

Refunds and Compassion: I understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. Unfortunately, refunds for the Ghost Walk aren’t available. However, your generosity in considering your ticket purchase as a donation to 4 Paws Animal Rescue is truly commendable. It’s heartwarming to know that your contribution will support our furry friends in need.

Remember, even if you can’t attend this year, the spirits of the past will still be out there, waiting to share their tales. And who knows? Maybe next year, you’ll have a new four-legged companion to join you on the haunted journey! 🐾👻

ABOUT YOUR GHOST WALK GUIDES:

Renee Auby:

Hello, I’m Renee, an IT Manager at Ferguson Enterprises. My greatest joy comes from my two wonderful sons, Corbin (18) and Connor (20), who are both full-time students at CNU, and my two beloved pups, Milo and Charley. We started fostering dogs in 2020 through 4 Paws Animal Rescue and ended up adopting our first foster, Charley. Since then, we’ve successfully prepared many other pups for their future homes. Due to Charley’s reactivity challenges, I’ve dedicated hundreds of hours to her training at On Command. Currently, I offer boarding and one-on-one training services. I’ve also had the unique opportunity to train two dogs for musicals at the Centerstage Academy of Performing Arts. In my spare time, I love volunteering to support other pet businesses, such as Critter Sitters and More!

Connor’s Auby:

My son, Connor, is a pre-med student at CNU, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Leadership. He works part-time at Bzdick Studios, where he pursues his passion for vocal and theatre arts. One of his many responsibilities is caring for the owner’s nine show dogs. Connor also assists me with dog training and boarding at home. He has starred in numerous musicals and dramas throughout high school, had a lead role in the CNU musical “Guys and Dolls,” and performs at events whenever he can, balancing his time between shadowing surgeons and volunteering at Gentiva Hospice. With his extensive theatre experience, you can expect a very engaging Pups and People Ghost Walk.
